Upon graduating from Canisus College, Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force where he spent the next 30 years protecting our freedoms at home and abroad. For his service he earned numerous decorations including the Bronze Star Medal and Legion of Merit. It was while he was overseas he met his loving wife Laura. They have been married for 36 years and have three successful and smart children: Edward, Lillian and Vincent.

Bob retired from the Air Force as a Colonel, and relocated back to his hometown of North Tonawanda with Laura. Shortly after they moved back home, Bob decided he wanted to continue serving others and was elected Alderman-at-Large. He is now the City Council President. He is also involved with many community organizations. He's currently the Chamber of Commerce President, a WNY Red Cross Board Member, and Chairman of the Niagara Community Action Program.
