PECORARO'S PLAN OF ACTIOn
HOLD THE LINE ON TAXES
As Mayor, the last thing Bob would want NT families and small businesses to face is the unfair burden of high taxes. That's why Bob voted against the city tax increase in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Bob has a high caliber of budget experience. While in the Air Force, Bob served as an Airbase Commander and was in charge of not only thousands of servicemen & personnel, but also an annual 50 million dollar budget. In 2019 under Bob's watch, North Tonawanda was named the best NYS community to live in with an income of $50k and he wants to maintain this for our residents.
PROTECT OUR POLICE & FIRE
Bob want's to keep our citizens safe. While New York State continues to bend over backwards defending criminals, ignoring the victims and defunding the police, Bob will be a Mayor who will proudly stands with our law enforcement. As Alderman, Bob voted in favor of the city's resolution AGAINST Bail Reform. Bob helped procure funding for new police and fire equipment, as well as funds for a School Resource Officer (SRO) to keep our students safe. Bob is proudly endorsed by the WNY Association of Retired Law Enforcement Personnel (WARP) due to his unwavering support for police on the City Council.
EXPAND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Within the last decade, North Tonawanda has seen unprecedented economic growth and Bob would continue this trend as your next Mayor. Bob is the Chamber of Commerce President and understands what attracts small businesses to our city and what makes North Tonawanda a destination. Under Bob's watch, new businesses opened up shop in the city such as Fattey Beer, Spot Coffee NT, Frankie Primo's +39, Pizza Amore, & Ivy League Construction. Businesses such as Armstrong Pumps, Platter's Chocolates, & Woodcock Bros. Brewery have also expanded. Bob will continue to create a climate that will get businesses both big and small to North Tonawanda to grow the local tax base and create jobs.
